Flightscope

FlightScope provides extensive data mining capability by combining the power of AwSim's trajectory analysis tools with Avid's visual analysis tools. Using a simple interface, the user selects a range of days from our trajectory library to analyze and enters the data mining criteria. The data mining criteria can include carrier, flight ID, departure, destination, ship number, aircraft type and other criteria. Complete trajectory metrics are provided that quantify many flight parameters including: distance flown, excess distance, excess time, holding and other events, and many others. All of the selected data can be shown on the Avid visual display. Flights or groups of flights identified with metric analysis can then easily be pinpointed for visual analysis.
